We have decided to change the direction of adding the current 8th graders to the Mega Camp. Instead of having them be a part of the current Mega Camp structure, we are going to hold a Freshman Team Camp, in which we only invite 3-4 teams to come participate in the camp. The days will be spent in a more team environment rather than the focus on individual skills, and it will give their coaches another opportunity to work w/ their team in a competitive environment. There will be ample time to spend scrimmaging the other teams at camp, and w/ only allowing 3-4 teams to participate each team will get plenty of extra reps. We will also include “chalk-talk” sessions for the teams, and have a college coach assigned to each team for the duration of camp. Stay tuned for more details of this camp as they become available.
